Flashback Caddis

Reference Recipe
- Hook Curved caddis nymph hook, 12-16
- Thread Tan/olive 8/0 (70 denier)
Materials
- Bead Gold tungsten (optional) bead (sized to hook)
- Abdomen Caddis-green dubbing (slim)
- Rib Fine gold wire (1 strand)
- Flashback Pearl tinsel (1 strip)
- Thorax Dark brown dubbing or peacock (small pinch)
- Legs Brown partridge (optional) (2 turns)
How to tie it
- Slide a gold bead to the eye (optional), mount the hook, and start thread.
- Tie in gold wire at the bend for the rib.
- Dub a slim caddis-green abdomen forward to the 65% mark.
- Rib the wire forward in 5-6 turns and tie off.
- Tie in a strip of pearl flash, then dub a dark thorax collar behind the bead.
- Pull the flash over as a wingcase and bind behind the bead, adding 2 turns of partridge for legs if desired. Whip finish.
