Reference Recipe
- Hook Saltwater streamer hook, 1/0-4
- Thread White 6/0 (140 denier)
Materials
- Tail White or chartreuse marabou (1 clump)
- Flash Pearl flashabou (several strands each side)
- Body Pearl Estaz/cactus chenille (1 length)
- Hackle Grizzly or white saddle (1 feather, palmered)
- Eyes Stick-on (silver) (1 pair)
How to tie it
- Mount the saltwater hook and start thread.
- Tie in a marabou tail one shank length long and add several strands of pearl flash to each side.
- Tie in a saddle hackle by the tip and a length of pearl Estaz at the bend.
- Wrap the Estaz forward to the head for a flashy body, then palmer the hackle over it in 5-6 open turns and tie off.
- Build a thread head and press a stick-on eye onto each side.
- Whip finish and coat the head with UV resin to lock the eyes.
