Body Peacock herl or olive pheasant tail (2-3 strands)
Head/Hot spot Fluorescent green thread, dubbing, or bead (-)
How to tie it
Tie in a slim black marabou tail/wing at the bend, about one shank length long, kept sparse so it pulses.
Tie in the wire rib and 2-3 peacock herls (or olive PT fibers).
Wrap a slim body forward, stopping short of the eye to leave room for the head.
Counter-wrap the wire in 4-5 even turns to rib and reinforce the body.
Build a bright fluorescent-green head (thread, dubbing, or a green bead). The fl. green head is the trigger that makes this cormorant used in colored water.
