- Hook 60-degree jig nymph hook, 14-18
- Thread Black 8/0
Materials
- Bead Silver bead (slotted tungsten, 2.5-3.0mm)
- Tag Fluoro pink mono (floss or thread)
- Body Peacock ice dub (2-3 peacock herls)
- Rib Silver metal tape (fine wire)
- Collar Black ostrich herl (thread)
How to tie it
- Seat the slotted bead and start thread behind it, running to the bend.
- Wrap a short, bright pink tag over the rear one-fifth of the shank.
- Twist the peacock herl into a rope and wind a body forward to the 70% mark.
- Counter-wrap the silver rib in 5 open turns to protect the herl and tie off.
- Build a small black thread collar behind the bead.
- Whip finish and add a drop of cement.
