• Hook Standard dry fly, 2x long, 8-12
• Thread Yellow 6/0

Materials

• Body Yellow foam or dubbing (thick)
• Wing Elk hair (bullet-style)
• Legs Knotted pheasant tail fibers or rubber (1 pair)
• Hackle Brown or grizzly hackle (palmered)

How to tie it

1. Mount hook, build foam body or dub thick
2. Palmer hackle through body
3. Stack elk hair, tie as bullet wing
4. Add knotted legs
5. Whip finish
