Electric Chicken Jig Leech

Tyer Recipe

  • Hook Jig hook, slotted tungsten bead, #6-10
  • Thread Pink or fluorescent 6/0

Materials

  • Bead Pink or gold bead (1 slotted tungsten)
  • Tail Pink ears (Marabou)
  • Body Chartreuse arctic fox (Fritz or cactus chenille)
  • Flash Pearl flashabou (Few strands)

How to tie it

  1. Slide a slotted bead to the eye and start thread behind it.
  2. Tie in a pink marabou tail about one shank length long, with a few strands of flash.
  3. Wrap a chartreuse fritz body forward to the bead.
  4. Brush out the fibers for movement.
  5. Build a thread dam behind the bead.
  6. Whip finish behind the bead.
