How to tie it
Fold adhesive metal tape over the shank from behind the eye back to the hook point and trim it to a belly/minnow shape for a weighted, reflective underbody.
Slide medium pearl mylar tubing (insert removed) over the body just past the bend, lash it down behind the tape at the rear with white thread, whip finish and trim.
Restart the thread at the front, secure and stretch the mylar over the tape, then trim the excess.
Lash the 3D eyes on 80lb mono across the underside between the hook eye and the tape with figure-eight wraps and cement.
Tie in white polar fiber above and below the hook for the first wing, tips even with the bend, and trim the butts.
Split the thread, load bluish-white dubbing, spin it and wrap a dubbing collar around the eyes, then brush it out.
Add pearl flash and white synthetic fibers over the wing, then a shorter bunch in front of the eyes to build a tapered profile.
Tie in a red rabbit-strip throat and a few strands of peacock herl over a black polar-fiber top wing for a dark back.
Set grizzly hackle-tip cheeks on each side, slightly shorter than the wing, and trim the butts.
Cover the front with red thread for the head, whip finish and coat with head cement.
