Tail/Legs/Antennae Medium orange barred rubber legs (Several strands)

Abdomen & Thorax Rusty brown ice dub (As needed)
Underwing Pearl midge flash (Few strands)
Overwing Orange-dyed elk or deer hair (Small clump)
Indicator Orange 1.5mm fly foam (Small tab)
How to tie it
Mount the curved hook, start thread, and tie in a strip of cinnamon foam and a set of rubber legs at the bend so the legs form a tail.
Dub a rusty brown abdomen forward to the 60% mark, then pull the foam over the top and bind it down to form the first foam segment.
Set a pair of rubber legs at that tie-down point, angled out to the sides.
Dub the thorax, lay pearl midge flash over the back reaching the end of the body, then measure a clump of orange elk from the front of the body to the bend and tie it in as a down-wing.
Pull the foam forward again over the thorax and pin it just behind the eye, leaving a short tab standing up as the orange indicator post.
Add a final pair of rubber legs at the head, whip finish, and trim the legs and antennae to length.
