Start the mono thread and wrap back to just in front of the hook point (not all the way to the bend).
Tie in a tiny tuft of red SF Fibers first for bleeding gills, then a short clump of white SF Fibers over it as an anti-foul underbelly; trim.
Tie in a tapered clump of white pseudo hair (about three small bunches) on top, combed and de-fuzzed, kept a little shorter than the top layer to come.
Tie in a clump of olive pseudo hair on top as the back, slightly longer than the white, tapering the tie-in end and keeping the thread nose small; tie it in a touch forward so it wiggles.
Tie in thin lateral-scale flash as a lateral line down between the white and olive, three wraps per side and around the nose; trim slightly longer than the body.
Whip finish carefully (mono can unravel) and clip.
Put a small dab of Zap-A-Gel on the lateral scale on each side, slide a yellow eye into place with a bodkin, then finish the head with a light coat of Loon UV thin and cure; taper the belly if needed.
