How to tie it
- Slide the silver bead to the eye, mount the hook, and start red thread behind the bead.
- Tie in a short coq de Leon tail about one shank-third long at the bend.
- Bind in a strand of pearl tinsel for the flashback, then a length of pearl mylar for the body.
- Wrap the mylar forward in touching turns to build a smooth flashy body up to the thorax area.
- Dub a small rainbow sow-scud thorax behind the bead.
- Pull the pearl flashback over the thorax, pin it behind the bead, letting a strip of red thread show as the hotspot, and whip finish.
