Start thread on a size 14 dry fly hook and tie a small bunch of the multi-coloured poly yarn in at the rear so it projects off the back.
Tie a second piece of poly yarn in at the front, pointing forward over the eye.
Tie the grizzly hackle in at the rear, laying the stem back along the shank.
Spin a thin, even noodle of rusty dubbing on the thread, tilting the bobbin as you wrap keeps the body even, and take it forward along the shank to just behind the front yarn.
Brush the dubbed body out lightly with a brush to raise a few fibers.
Palmer the grizzly hackle forward through the body in even turns up to behind the front yarn, tie it off and cut the excess fibers.
Lift the front poly yarn, take a few wraps in front of it and pull slightly so it stands up.
Trim the front and rear yarn tufts to length (short, not overlong) build a small head and whip finish.
Give the fly a final brush-out to restore the bugginess.
