Thread olive or brown 70 denier
Materials
Trailing shuck Brown permanent marker (antron, short)
Abdomen Olive/brown buggerbou mini barred (dubbing, slim)
Rib Gold middle (fine wire)
Thorax Darker olive/brown (dubbing)
Wing bud Dun microfibetts (CDC or antron)
How to tie it
Mount the hook and start thread.
Tie in a short, sparse brown antron shuck at the bend, half a shank long.
Dub a slim, tapered abdomen forward to the 65% mark using half the dubbing you think.
Counter-rib with 4-5 turns of fine gold wire and break it off.
Dub a fuller, darker thorax and pull a short CDC wing bud over the top.
