  • Hook dry fly (TMC 100), 14-16
  • Thread yellow 14/0

Materials

  • Body Pale yellow d rib larva lace (dubbing, slim)
  • Post White uni stretch (poly yarn)
  • Legs Yellow round rubber (fine rubber (optional))
  • Hackle Yellow-dyed grizzly hackle (one, parachute)

How to tie it

  1. Mount the hook and start yellow thread.
  2. Dub a slim, pale-yellow body forward to the 70% mark.
  3. Stand up a white poly post at the 70% mark for visibility.
  4. Optionally figure-8 a pair of short yellow rubber legs at the front.
  5. Tie in a yellow-dyed grizzly hackle and take 3-4 parachute turns around the post.
  6. Secure the hackle, dub a touch over the thorax, whip finish under the post and cement.
