Start the thread right behind the jig bend, snip the tag, and build a short thread base around the jig bend, ending with the thread on top of the bend.
Clip two beads off the Risen Bead chain Eyes and set them on top of the jig bend. Figure-8 them in with X wraps, keeping them perpendicular to the shank, then take under-wraps beneath the eyes to cinch the X wraps tight. Repeat both sets. Paint Solarez Ultra Thin UV Resin over the wraps top and bottom and cure it so the eyes cannot spin.
Run the thread back to the bend and forward again to just shy of the eyes to lay a base for the materials.
Separate a clump of fur from the olive Rabbit Strip (wetting it keeps it together) and tear it off the hide. Measure it at one shank length for the tail and bind it in, taking the thread all the way back to the bend. Snip the excess fur and keep it for the head.
Tie in the Rayon Chenille with its end reaching almost to the bead chain eyes, bind it down to the bend and back up, then back down and up once more to smooth the underbody. Finish with the thread about a third of the way back from the eyes.
Clip one strand of MFC Centepede Legs, fold it in half and align the tips. Tie it in on top with two light wraps, slightly longer to the rear than the loop, then clip the loop to give two legs. Pull one leg to each side of the hook and wrap forward slightly over them, leaving a gap between the rear-facing and forward-facing halves; keep them on the sides of the shank. End the thread right behind the eyes.
Palmer the chenille forward. At the legs, wrap over the rear set so they angle backward, then over the front set so they stick out sideways. Capture the chenille, snip the waste, and take a few wraps behind the eyes to form a smooth thread collar for the hackle.
Pick a webby feather from the Soft Hackle patch with fibers half the hook length. Strip the fuzz from the base, stroke the fibers back from the tip to make a tie-in spot, and tie it in right behind the eyes with the curve angling down. Fold the tag back, bind over it, and snip any trapped fibers.
Stroke the fibers rearward and take 2-3 turns of hackle. Capture the stem, take a few wraps in front and over it, pull any forward-pushed fibers back and wrap over them, then snip the stem and any fibers that will not lie back.
Tease out the saved rabbit fur and dub it as a loose noodle. Take a wrap behind the eyes, then X wraps over and under the eyes, ending at the hook eye.
Whip finish. Brush out the dubbed head so it blends into the collar, then coat the whip finish with Solarez Ultra Thin UV Resin and cure. If trimming legs, take the front pair to about the length of the collar fibers and the rear pair to just shy of the tail end.
