Bead a Daiichi 1760 with a white bead and start grey brown UTC thread.
Tie extra small black wire and extra small silver wire in together, in tandem, running them down the shank side by side. Two wires is the whole pattern. The entire body is wire, no floss or tinsel at all.
Spin the bobbin counter-clockwise to flatten the thread and build a smooth taper. A flat thread underbody matters here because a wire body will telegraph every lump beneath it.
Wrap both wires forward at the same time, keeping them tight against each other. If they separate on you, push the silver back up against the black with a fingernail after the fact.
Tie off and helicopter both wires out behind the bead.
Darken the thread with a marker, build a small thorax, whip finish and give it a shot of glue or resin. A pure wire body is essentially indestructible and sinks fast on its own.
