Rear egg Orange permanent marker (clump of Glo-Bug yarn)
Front egg Pink ears (second clump of Glo-Bug yarn)
Optional hot spot Red buzzer wrap (few strands red yarn or thread)
How to tie it
Mount the hook and lay a thread base from behind the eye back to the bend.
At the bend, stand a clump of orange yarn up on top of the shank with several tight thread wraps, then pull it up and snip it into a round ball to form the rear egg.
Advance the thread one-third of a shank forward and repeat with a pink yarn clump to form the front egg, snipping it round.
Tuck a few strands of red yarn between the two eggs for a blood-dot hot spot if wanted.
Build a small thread head behind the eye, whip finish and snip.
Trim any stray fibers so each egg reads as a clean sphere, keeping both compact.
