Mount the curved hook and start gray thread behind the eye, wrapping back around the bend to the barb.
Bind a length of fine silver wire at the bend, then a strip of clear Scud Back on top, leaving both hanging to the rear.
Dub a shaggy UV gray Ice Dub body forward, tapered fattest in the middle, stopping just short of the eye. Keep it a touch buggier than you think.
Pull the clear shellback tightly over the top and bind it down at the eye.
Counter-wrap the silver rib forward in 5-6 evenly spaced turns to segment the body and lock the shellback, then tie off and helicopter the wire to break it.
Pick out the underside dubbing with a bodkin to suggest legs, whip finish and snip.
