Tying thread, body Gray thread (6/0, enough for a lightly tapered body)
Window tint strip, first rib Bronze window tint film strip (0.5mm, about 6 turns)

How to tie it
Slide the 7/64 inch magic brown bead on with the wide end toward the eye. Lay a short thread base behind the eye, tie in a clump of white Antron pointing forward, trim, whip finish, cut the thread, and push the bead forward over the gill butts.
Start the 6/0 gray thread behind the bead and tie in the fine red wire, wrapping the thread back to the bend so the wire lies flat along the side of the shank the whole way.
Tie in the 0.5mm bronze window tint strip at the bend, keeping the tie-in thin.
Wrap the gray thread forward to the bead to build the body, spinning the bobbin a few turns so the thread lies flat, and taper it slightly toward the bead. It is a bomber, so a little bulk is fine.
Wrap the bronze window tint forward as the first rib in about 6 even turns and tie it off behind the bead, then trim.
Take one wrap of the red wire at the tail and follow the tint up the body, riding as close in front of each tint turn as you can without covering it, so you get two distinct ribs. One bright, one dull. Tie off behind the bead and windmill off the tag.
Whip finish the gray thread behind the bead and cut, then start the rust thread and build a small tapered thorax level with the bead, whip finish and cut.
Hold the gills clear with a fingertip and singe off any stray thread ends, then pull the gills back and trim them to about the width of the bead.
Coat the whole fly with UV resin or Loctite, rolling it to get the coating all around the body and head, and cure to finish.
