Tyer Recipe
- Hook jig hook, 8-14
- Thread Red 8/0
Materials
- Slotted tungsten bead Copper or black slotted tungsten bead (1)
- Marabou or pine-squirrel tail Red marabou (small tuft)
- Dubbing body Red ice dub (as needed)
- Wire rib Copper wire (1 length)
How to tie it
- Slide the slotted bead onto the jig hook and start thread behind it.
- Wrap to above the barb and tie in a red marabou tail about one shank long.
- Tie in the wire rib, then dub a slim tapered red body toward the bead.
- Rib the wire forward in open spirals and tie off.
- Pick out the body slightly and whip finish behind the bead.
