Tyer Recipe
- Hook Streamer/leech, 2X-3X long, 6-10
- Thread Brown 8/0
Materials
- Marabou Blood brown (1 plume for tail)
- Marabou or micro chenille Blood brown (body)
- Bead (optional) Copper or black slotted tungsten bead (1, sized to hook)
How to tie it
- If using a bead, slide it to the eye, then start thread behind it and lay a base to the bend.
- Tie in a blood-brown marabou tail about one and a half hook lengths long at the bend.
- Twist a length of blood-brown marabou into a rope and wrap it forward to build a slim tapered body, or palmer micro chenille forward.
- Wrap forward to just behind the bead or eye, keeping the body slender and mobile.
- Whip finish and cement.
