- Hook curved pupa/scud hook, #12-16
- Thread Black 8/0
Materials
- Bead Silver or black bead (1)
- Body Pearly grey anti-static bag strip
- Wire rib Silver wire
- Breather gills White uni stretch (small tuft)
How to tie it
- Slide bead to the eye; start thread and wrap to a point above the barb.
- Tie in a fine strip cut from an anti-static bag and a length of fine silver wire at the rear.
- Build a thin thread underbody forward to one bead-width behind the bead.
- Wrap the anti-static strip forward in slightly overlapping turns to form a pearly translucent body; tie off.
- Counter-wrap the wire rib forward in 5-6 even turns; tie off and trim.
- Tie in a small white antron tuft at the front for breather gills and trim short.
- Whip finish behind the bead.
