Classic Recipe
- Hook Standard wet, 10-14

Materials
- Tail Brown hackle fibers (sparse)
- Body Peacock herl (slim)
- Rib Copper wire (spiral)
- Throat Brown hackle fibers (beard)
- Cheeks Jungle cock, optional (small)
How to tie it
- Mount the wet hook and run brown thread to the bend.
- Tie in a sparse bunch of brown hackle fibers as a short tail, then catch in fine copper wire for the rib.
- Wrap 3-4 peacock herls forward as a slim body to just short of the eye and tie off.
- Spiral the copper wire forward in 5-6 open turns to rib and protect the herl, then secure.
- Tie in a beard of brown hackle fibers under the throat, reaching to the point.
- Optionally set tiny jungle cock eyes as cheeks each side of the head.
- Build a small head, whip finish and varnish.
