Wing Grizzly hackle tips (2 tips tied delta-style (flat V over the body))
Hackle Grizzly or ginger hackle (1 feather, trimmed flat underneath)
Underwing Dun Antron (Sparse Antron (optional))
How to tie it
Mount the hook and start thread mid-shank.
Dub a slim, slightly tapered body from the bend forward to the 70% mark.
Tie in two grizzly hackle tips flat over the body, splayed into a low V past the bend, delta-wing style. The flat spent wings are what make this ride flush and low like a spent or resting caddis.
If using an Antron underwing, add a sparse pinch beneath the tips.
Wind a grizzly or ginger hackle 3-4 turns at the front for float.
Trim the hackle flat across the bottom so the fly sits low and flush in the film.
