Slide the 1/8" Silver Brass bead onto the GamaKatsu SL11-3H hook, mount it and lay a base layer of Cornflower 12/0 thread.
Mix about six strands each of the green and blue Crystal Flash, tie them in on top at the rear for the tail, and take a couple of turns underneath the flash to prop it up. Trim the tail to about the length of the shank up to the bead.
Tie in one strand each of the green and blue Iridescent Thread for the rib, then the Flat Mirage Tinsel, binding all three down together, and bring the thread forward to the bead.
Add a couple of dabs of brushable super glue to the underbody and throw in a half hitch.
Wind the Mirage tinsel up the shank to the bead, tie it off and half hitch.
Slightly twist the blue and green iridescent threads together so they stay side by side, rib forward in even turns, tie off and snip.
Even up the remaining green and blue Crystal Flash and tie it in right on top for the wing, measured back to just past the body, about halfway down the tail.
Tie in a tiny amount of Blue Marabou on top as a wing (optional; skip it for a slimmer fly), separate the butts and snip them close without cutting the wing.
Take a few leftover Blue Marabou fibers and spin them onto the thread like dubbing, pulling off any excess, and wrap a collar; fewer strands are easier to spin.
Colour the thread red for the collar if you like, take a couple of whip finishes, touch a little super glue to the thread so it soaks in, and snip.
