Materials
Brass bead Brown bead (1, 3/32")
Micro Glint tinsel Pearl mylar tinsel (6-7 strands for gill)
Micro Glint tinsel Brown micro glint tinsel (1 length for rib)
UV resin Clear uv resin (1 coat)
How to tie it
Slide the bead on wide hole forward and start the gray thread at the front of the hook.
Take 6-7 strands of pearl Micro Glint (wind it around your hand and cut), tie the bundle in at the front, bind over the butts and whip finish. Cut the thread.
Slide the bead forward over the gill and trim the gill even with the eye of the hook.
Reattach the gray thread behind the bead and build the beginning of the taper.
Wrap a smooth gray thread body all the way down the shank and back, covering every bit of the hook.
Tie in the brown Micro Glint rib behind the bead and bind it along the body, then park the thread with a whip finish on the bobbin cradle.
Wind the rib down and up in 5-7 evenly spaced turns (or simply forward if you tied it in at the rear), lock it down with three turns behind and a couple in front, and trim.
