Slide the bead to the eye and start the Semperfli Med. Olive Micro Glint on the hook as thread directly behind it. Run it back to where the barb would be.
Pull a clump of Olive Rabbit fur off the strip, hold it by the tips and pull out as much underfur as you can to keep the tie-in bump small. Moisten the tips.
Measure the tail to about the body length or a little longer so it wiggles. Hold the clump toward yourself on top of the shank, take a loose loop of Micro Glint over it, pull tight and bind over the butts. Run a couple of turns underneath the tail for support, then back over it, keeping stray rabbit out of the body.
Build an even body forward with the Micro Glint. If the strands uncord into two, give the bobbin a clockwise spin to cord them back. Build it up slightly right behind the bead.
Pull a second, smaller and shorter clump of rabbit, clean out the underfur, pull out the longest fibres and snip the end so the tips reach just past the hook point. Moisten it.
Hold it toward yourself on top behind the bead, take a loose loop over it and pull tight to trap the wing. Whip finish, snip, and add a drop of superglue or resin if you like.
