  • Hook Wide-gape grub hook, 10-12
  • Thread Pink 8/0

Materials

  • Blob fritz Pink blob fritz (body)

How to tie it

  1. Cover the front two-thirds of the shank with thread.
  2. Tie in a length of pink blob fritz at the mid-point of the shank.
  3. Wind the fritz forward in touching turns to the eye, stroking fibres back each turn.
  4. Secure the fritz behind the eye and trim the excess.
  5. Form a small thread head and whip finish, then trim the fritz to a dense round ball.
