Slide the small black tungsten bead on first, then the larger copper bead, so the copper sits at the eye; the double tungsten is what gets this small midge down fast.
Start the thread behind the beads and seat them tight with a few wraps so they cannot spin.
Run the thread to the bend and tie in a strand of fine wire for the rib.
Wrap a smooth, thin thread body forward to just behind the beads, keeping it slim so the fly sinks quickly.
Counter-wrap the wire rib forward in four to six open turns to segment and reinforce the body, then helicopter off the excess.
Build a small thread collar behind the beads, whip finish and add a drop of cement.
