How to tie it
Slide the 2.8 mm silver tungsten bead to the eye, then wrap about 10 turns of 0.015" lead wire and push it into the back of the bead.
Start the red thread behind the lead, build a small dam to lock the wraps, cover the lead, and take the thread to the rear of the shank.
Build a narrow band of red thread wraps at the rear, about five thread-widths wide, as a hot spot butt.
Tie in four pheasant tail fibers just ahead of the red band as a short tail, using the butts to level the shank behind the lead.
Tie in the small silver wire rib at the rear.
Wax the thread and dub a thin, sleek body of the coyote/red acrylic blend forward to about one eye-length behind the bead.
Counter-rib the silver wire forward in open turns to lock the fuzzy body down, tie off, and break away the wire.
Dub a short thorax of white Ice Dub about as thick as the bead, then build a small flat band of red thread behind the bead as a front hot spot and whip finish.
Fluff the body lightly and trim any long stray fibers so the profile stays slim enough to sink fast.
