- Thread Olive 8/0
Materials
- Weight Lead-free (8-12 wraps)
- Abdomen Olive/green material (caddis-green dubbing or crystal dub)
- Rib Clear/olive mono or wire (1 strand)
- Shellback Olive thin skin / Scud Back (1 strip)
- Thorax/collar Brown or peacock dubbing (dubbing)

How to tie it
- Mount the curved hook, wrap 8-12 turns of lead-free wire over the shank, and start olive thread.
- Bind a strip of olive Thin Skin at the bend for the shellback and tie in the rib, leaving both long.
- Dub a fat caddis-green abdomen forward over the rear three-quarters, following the hook curve.
- Dub a darker brown thorax at the front.
- Pull the shellback tight over the whole back and bind it down at the eye.
- Counter-wrap the rib forward in 5-6 evenly spaced turns to segment the body and lock the shellback, then tie off.
- Build a few turns of fluorescent orange thread as a hot-spot collar, whip finish and coat the shellback with UV resin for a wet-caddis sheen.
