Tail/body Chartreuse over green over white (long saddle hackles or synthetic hair)
Flash Pearl and chartreuse Flashabou (1 bunch)
Collar Chartreuse bucktail (1 sparse bunch)
Eyes Painted or stick-on (1 pr)
Head Chartreuse arctic fox (thread + epoxy/UV resin)
How to tie it
Mount the long-shank hook and start thread at the rear of the shank.
Tie in a long slim tail of stacked saddle hackle or synthetic hair, white on the bottom and green then chartreuse on top, about three shank lengths long for a needlefish profile.
Add pearl and chartreuse Flashabou over and through the tail to mimic the juvenile bonefish it imitates.
Build a sparse chartreuse bucktail collar around the front to fill the head transition.
Wrap a smooth tapered thread head and let it dry.
Set stick-on eyes on each side of the head.
Coat the head with UV resin or epoxy over the eyes, whip finish under it, and let cure to a hard baitfish head.
