  • Hook 1x-2x nymph, 10-16

Materials

  • gold bead Gold bead (1)
  • goose biot tail Brown goose biots (2 biots)
  • crystal chenille/flash body Pearl flashabou (body length)
  • oval tinsel rib Gold oval tinsel (body length)
  • goose biot wings White goose biots (2 biots)
  • hackle collar Brown hackle (1 feather)

How to tie it

  1. Slide a gold bead to the eye and start thread behind it.
  2. Tie in two brown goose biots as a split tail at the bend.
  3. Tie in the gold rib, then wrap a pearl crystal chenille body forward.
  4. Rib the tinsel forward in even turns and tie off.
  5. Tie in a brown hackle and take a turn or two as a collar.
  6. Set two white goose biots in a V over the back as wings and whip finish behind the bead.
