Prepare the hook before tying: slide the 4.6mm Tungsten Bead on, add a little super glue and seat the Java Body, Tungsten size medium on top of the shank behind the bead.
Wax the thread, catch in just behind the bead and take firm wraps to secure the Java Body onto the shank (it likes to pop off). Snip the tag.
Brush a very thin coat of super glue over the Java Body so the thread bites, then criss-cross thread wraps over it until it is fully covered and solid.
Cut a point on the end of the Troutline Flashback 4mm Red/Brown, catch it in on top at the rear of the Java Body and bind it down to the bottom of the shank. Bring the thread back up onto the Java Body.
Tie in the Veniard No27 Medium Silver wire for the rib.
Dub the Troutline Mad Rabbit Plus (Black Pepper) onto the thread and wrap forward up the body, adding more as needed, and fill the natural gap where the Java Body meets the bead.
Comb a few fibers out along the back with a dubbing brush, then pull the Flashback over the top as a shellback: two turns over it, fold the tag back, two turns in front, and snip.
Rib the silver wire forward over the shellback in evenly spaced open turns; push the shellback into place with your fingers if it wanders. Capture the wire behind the bead with a couple of turns, add a couple in front, and work the wire until it breaks away.
Flatten the thread with a needle, split it and insert a tiny pinch of Prism SLF Dubbing. Spin the bobbin to trap the fibers, remove any long stragglers and wrap a short collar, slicking the fibers back after each turn.
Put a little UV resin on the thread, whip finish behind the bead, snip the thread and cure with the UV light.
