Thread Black (to match bead) Semperfli Nano Silk 12/0
Materials
Tungsten bead Black, slotted (One, 3.0 mm)
UTC wire Fluorescent green utc wire (One length for rib)
Nature's Spirit hare's mask dubbing Caddis green (Small pinch for body)
CDC feather Khaki (One, for collar)
How to tie it
Slide the 3.0 mm black tungsten bead onto the jig hook, seat it against the eye, and start the thread behind it, laying a base back to just past the bend.
Tie in the fluorescent green wire at the bead and bind it down along the shank to the rear of the thread base.
Dub a thin, slightly tapered body of caddis green hare's mask from the bend forward to about one bead-width behind the bead.
Rib the fluorescent green wire forward in evenly spaced open spirals, tie it off behind the bead, and helicopter the wire until it breaks.
Tie in the khaki CDC feather by its tip just behind the bead and take two or three turns as a sparse collar, stroking the fibers rearward with each wrap.
Tie off the CDC, sweep the collar fibers back over the body, build a small band of thread against the bead to hold them, and whip finish behind the bead.
