Put a Tiemco 600SP #2 in the vise and lay a base of Danville monofilament thread; bring the thread to above the hook point.
Tie in about 20 fibers of lateral scale (wrapped around the thread to double the amount) for the lateral line and the base of a flexible spine.
Saturate the first 30-40 percent of the lateral-scale fibers with Liquid Fusion (at least a shank length) and work it into the fibers; this dries into a flexible, non-fouling spine.
Tie a ~1/4in length of 80lb mono on top of the shank as a platform, then lash a small plastic fly rattle onto it (letting it extend slightly over the tail) so it can't roll; coat with Liquid Fusion.
Tie in a clump of white Kraft Fur measured about a third past the hook, folded over and bound on the underside of the shank.
Tie in a clump of white SF Fiber, then a clump of olive SF Fiber over it, to build the olive-over-white baitfish body and back.
