Materials

  • Shell Black deer hair, pulled over (shellback)
  • Legs Deer hair butts, 3 per side (clipped)
  • Head Clipped deer (stub)

How to tie it

  1. Tie deer hair at bend, tips back
  2. Pull the bundle over the shank as a shell
  3. Bind at head, split 6 butts as legs, clip rest
  4. Whip finish
