How to tie it
Fit the large slotted tungsten bead to the heavy jig hook and add a lead-free wire under-wrap to overload the front. This is a fast-sinking euro streamer built to hold heavy water.
Start thread and tie in a zonker or marabou tail/wing about a shank-and-a-half long for a broad sculpin silhouette.
Add a few strands of flash, then dub a body forward, keeping it slim to sink fast.
Build a broad dubbed head behind the bead to mimic the oversized head of a real sculpin.
Coat the head with epoxy or UV resin and cure. The hard wide head is the signature of the pattern and keeps its profile.
Add optional webby hen/partridge fibres as pectoral fins, whip finish and finish the head.
