How to tie it
Cover the hook shank with a base of flat waxed nylon. Tie in the lead dumbbell eyes about a third of the way back from the eye with figure-eight wraps, using plenty of tight wraps to lock them and leaving room for a head.
Tie in a Wooly Critter brush at the rear and palmer it forward to the eyes with slightly open wraps, keeping the fibers free; tie off, snip the wire, add a couple more wraps, and pick out any trapped fibers with a bodkin.
Trim the fibers flat across the bottom of the hook to make a flat seat for the tail.
Slide a Crittermite ultrasuede tail onto the hook point (pincher end to the rear, using the pre-cut hole), work it around the bend, and hold the long thin tab forward for tie-in.
Fold a single medium round rubber leg over the thread and draw it into place just below the eyes; secure it so a leg sits on each side.
Separate a single strand of sparkle yarn and tie it in behind the eyes, wrapping to fill and build a little bulk in the head area.
Pull the tail tab forward over the head, tie it down tightly, and whip finish.
