How to tie it
If using, start with a gold bead at the eye or tie bead-chain eyes; start thread and run to the bend.
Tie in a white marabou tail about one shank length long for a mobile, breathing tail (this is the Cat's Whisker lineage).
Tie in a length of pearl/silver tinsel chenille or Straggle and wrap it forward in touching turns to just behind the eye to form a flashy body.
Tie a white rabbit Zonker strip flat over the back as a wing, hide-side down, extending about one shank length past the bend; the Zonker strip is what gives the fly its snaking, high-mobility action.
Wind a soft white hen or marabou collar behind the eye and stroke it back, adding a couple of rubber legs per side if desired.
