Catskill Dressing

• Hook Standard dry fly, 12-14
• Thread Cream 8/0

Materials

• Tail Cream/ginger hackle fibers (long, one and a half shank lengths)
• Body Stripped cream/ginger hackle quill (lacquered)
• Hackle Oversize cream/ginger (5-6 turns, no wings)

How to tie it

1. Mount hook and start cream thread.
2. Tie in a long cream tail, one and a half shank lengths.
3. Wrap a stripped, lacquered cream/ginger quill body to the 75% mark.
4. Wind an oversize cream/ginger variant hackle in 5-6 turns, no wings.
5. Whip finish.
