Crappie Kandy

Reference Recipe

• Hook Standard streamer / jig, 6-10
• Thread White 6/0

Materials

• Eyes Silver metal tape (Bead-chain)
• Tail White uni stretch (Marabou, one shank length)
• Flash Pearl flashabou (4-6 strands Krystal Flash)
• Body Chartreuse arctic fox (Estaz / chenille)
• Collar Chartreuse arctic fox (Soft hackle (optional))

How to tie it

1. Mount the hook and bind bead-chain eyes near the eye with figure-8 wraps.
2. Run thread to the bend and tie in a white marabou tail one shank length long, then add a few strands of pearl flash.
3. Tie in the Estaz at the bend.
4. Wrap the Estaz forward in touching turns, figure-8 around the eyes, and tie off behind the eye.
5. Optionally palmer two turns of soft chartreuse hackle as a collar and sweep the fibers back.
6. Whip finish behind the hook eye.
