Put a 4XL streamer hook (#8-12) in the vise, pinch the barb, and start black 140 thread up front.
Tie in a strand of silver (holographic) tinsel, wrap it to the rear, then back forward in touching turns to about two eye-lengths behind the eye and tie off (don't worry about a little black showing through).
Tie a medium tuft of white bucktail on top with a couple of loose wraps, then spin it so it distributes all the way around the shank for a shaggy collar; trim the butts close.
Tie a small tuft of black bucktail on top (cord the thread clockwise and go straight into tight wraps so it stays on top rather than spinning); snip the excess.
Tie a clump of coyote body fur on top as the wing, deliberately leaving much of the crinkly underfur in for bulk; snip the butts and lick your fingers to mat them before finishing.
Wrap a neat streamer head, whip finish, and add head cement.
