Classic Recipe

  • Hook Streamer, 3x long, 2-6
  • Thread Natural or olive 3/0

Materials

  • Cone Gold or brass cone (1)
  • Tail Rabbit strip (long)
  • Body Gold tinsel or braid (wrapped)
  • Wing Rabbit strip (extending past tail)
  • Collar Deer hair (spun)
  • Head Deer hair (clipped, small Muddler)

How to tie it

  1. Slide cone on hook
  2. Tie in rabbit strip tail
  3. Wrap tinsel body
  4. Tie in rabbit wing
  5. Spin deer hair collar and head
  6. Clip head to shape
  7. Whip finish
