Tail/body White and olive craft fur (stacked clumps)
Flash Pearl Krystal Flash (a few strands)
Topping Olive/gray craft fur (one clump)
Head UV resin over combed fibers (as needed)
How to tie it
Mount the hook and start thread. Figure-8 the barbell eyes near the front on top of the shank.
At the rear, stack a sparse clump of white craft fur for the tail and belly, keeping the profile long and thin.
Add a few strands of pearl flash, then reverse-tie and fold additional craft fur to build a slim tapered body up the shank.
Top the body with an olive or gray clump for the back, blending a baitfish color scheme.
Comb the fibers back and, with the fly wet, sweep them around and over the eyes, then lock the head fibers down with a thin coat of UV resin so they lie tapered and slick.
Cure the resin, build a small head, and whip finish.
