Body White poly yarn (palmered with trimmed white saddle)
Rib White thread (counter-wrapped)
Hackle Dark badger or grizzly hackle (at the head)
How to tie it
Mount the long-shank hook and start white thread.
Tie in three black-and-white peccary fibers, splayed, one shank length long.
Tie in a white saddle hackle and a length of white poly yarn at the bend; wrap the yarn forward as a plump white body.
Palmer the white saddle hackle forward over the body with its barbs trimmed short, then counter-wrap white thread through it in 5-6 turns to lock it. The trimmed palmer gives a segmented, breathing body.
Wind a dark badger or grizzly hackle at the head for the wings/legs impression.
