Flash Copper or root beer Krystal Flash (8-10 strands, split front and rear)
Body Gold ice dub (2 dubbing loops (both segments))
Belly Pearl ice dub (2 pinches)
Connection Senyo articulation shanks or 20 lb wire with beads (1)
How to tie it
Build the rear segment first: tie a marabou tail one shank length long on the trailing hook, add a few strands of Krystal Flash, then dub a full gold Ice Dub body forward and add a pearl Ice Dub belly.
Join the rear hook to the front hook (or shank) with articulation wire and a couple of beads so the two halves swim independently. Articulation doubles the swimming action for big, aggressive fish.
On the front hook, slide the cone to the eye and jam 8-12 wraps of lead into it for weight.
Tie in a short marabou collar and more Krystal Flash at the rear of the front segment to blend the two halves.
Dub a second full gold Ice Dub body forward to the cone and fold pearl Ice Dub under for the belly.
Whip finish behind the cone and brush both segments out for maximum bulk and movement.
