Rig the stinger: attach a short trailing hook on a loop of coated wire or heavy mono and lash it along the front hook shank, point up.
Tie a pair of dumbbell (or bead-chain) eyes on top of the shank about one-third back from the eye so the fly rides point-up.
Turn the hook point-up. In front of and behind the eyes, tie in a clump of white bucktail as the belly, extending past the bend, and wrap it so it sits on the now-top of the hook.
Add several strands of pearl flash over the white for a lateral line.
Flip understanding of orientation and tie a chartreuse bucktail clump over the eyes as the back, matching the belly length, to make the classic Clouser two-tone.
Build a smooth thread head over the eyes, whip finish and coat with UV resin or epoxy; cure.
