Start the Black thread behind the eye and work it down the shank toward the bend, catching in the Red Holo Tinsel on the way down.
Wrap the Red Holo Tinsel at the rear to build the butt section, catch the waste end in with the thread and snip it away.
Work the thread back up the shank to the front.
Take a single Natural peacock quill and wind it up the body as the rib, aiming for about five turns on a size 12, then catch it in and rip off the waste.
Take two UV White Goose Biots and tie them in at the front as the cheeks.
Build a head at the front, then one by one bring the cheeks forward over it, bind them down and snip off the waste.
Build a small neat head and tie off with a whip finish tool.
Apply nail varnish sparingly around the hook; it usually takes two or three applications.
