Mount the hook, start the thread, and figure-8 the Medium lead eyes onto the shank.
Wrap the thread back to level with the hook point. Cut a long clump of Kreelex Flash, longer than the tail needs, because the forward end folds back to form the underbody.
Bind the flash at the point so the tail hangs back; the tips need not be even yet. Hold the forward flash down along the shank and wrap up to right behind the eyes, getting the thread tight under them.
Pull all the forward flash back over the shank and bind it down behind the eyes, pressing it down so it flares. Snip the folded flash about even with the back of the hook, then trim the tail slightly longer.
Wrap the thread forward to in front of the eyes. Tie a second clump of Kreelex Flash in front of the eyes at its midpoint, half forward and half back.
Fold the forward half back over as an overwing, wrap thread over it, trim the short stub in front, and build the thread up into a taper covering the wing tie-down.
Take two whip finishes, add a drop of Loon UV Flow, and cure with the UV light.
Out of the vise, gather the front wing and clip it even with the bottom wing.
