Reference Recipe
- Hook 2XL dry hook (e.g. TMC 5263), 8-12
- Thread Yellow 140 denier
Materials
- Tail Yellow mcflylon (A short tuft of Antron yarn)
- Underbody Yellow mcflylon (Superfine dubbing)
- Body Yellow mcflylon (2mm foam strip)
- Wing White uni stretch (McFlylon)
- Legs Yellow/barred rubber legs (Sili Legs, two pairs)
How to tie it
- Mount the hook and start the thread, base to the bend.
- Tie in a short yellow Antron tail and secure a yellow foam strip at the bend, tag back.
- Dub a thin yellow underbody to the 60% mark, fold the foam over and bind for the rear segment.
- Add a white poly wing and a splayed pair of sili legs at that point.
- Dub a short front underbody, fold the foam forward and bind at the 85% mark, then add the front wing and leg pair.
- Whip finish under the front foam and trim the wing to about one shank.
